2015 Annual Symposium

This year will be the 25th year that the student symposium has been running. It gives students a valuable opportunity to develop their communication skills, and is an ideal for learning about other areas of research in the College. The day concludes with a drinks reception and prize giving.

Students are informed well in advance if they are required to deliver a presentation or prepare a poster for the poster session. If you are not sure then you should contact Debbie Smith.

Students must also produce a 250 MAXIMUM word abstract of their presentation for inclusion in the symposium programme.

Presentations to be uploaded onto the computer on the day by the student.

Posters should be a maximum A0 size and can be either portrait or landscape. Posters are to be put up on the day. A timetable will be sent to let students know when they will be judged. Students should be avaliable for the whole session.

Contact Media Services to get your poster printed.

Presentation at this event is a compulsory part of the College's postgraduate training programme for both full and part-time students.
