The University of Dundee's Schools of Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing & Health Sciences is offering a range of full time PhD projects through the Brazilian Science without Borders scheme.
Dundee for Learning : Choosing Dundee for a PhD means choosing a University which is internationally recognised for the quality of its biomedical and healthcare research . PhD students benefit from excellent supervision and high quality research facilities and infrastructure.Each student will work under the direction of their supervisor and also meet regularly with a monitoring committee which oversees progress throughout their PhD.
The University's Code of Practice for Supervised Research, which is issued to all new research students, ensures that they receive regular guidance and support throughout their studies and need never feel isolated or lacking direction.
Dundee for Living : Dundee offers international students an excellent learning and living environment, the 3 Schools have research students from over 30 countries attracted by the quality and range of research carried out in Dundee. Due to the increasing number of Brazilian students and staff ( and those interested in Brazil ) a ' Friends of Brazil ' society has been formed to encourage exchange and friendship. The society organises regular events such as film screenings/discussions.
